How it works

Merging PDF files means combining two or more separate documents into a single file, in whatever order you choose. This is useful when you've scanned a multi-page document as individual files, want to combine several reports into one packet before emailing, or need to join a cover letter with a resume into a single attachment. Once merged, the page order follows the order you added your files — reorder them beforehand if you need pages in a different sequence.

How to use it

  1. Add your files — Choose two or more PDFs — you can add as many as you need.
  2. Check the order — Files are combined in the order you added them.
  3. Download the result — Get one combined PDF containing every page from every file.

Common questions

Can I merge more than two files at once?

Yes — add as many PDF files as you like, and they'll all be combined into a single document in the order you add them.

Does merging preserve bookmarks and links?

Bookmarks and internal links from the original files aren't currently carried over — each page's visible content stays exactly the same, but navigation aids specific to the original document aren't preserved.

Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?

No hard limit — since everything runs in your browser, the practical limit is your own device's memory, which comfortably handles dozens of typical PDF files.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. This tool processes your file directly in your browser. It is never sent to a server, stored, or seen by anyone.

Is there a file size or daily limit?

No daily limit. Very large files (roughly 100MB+) may be slow since everything runs on your own device's memory rather than a server.

Do I need to create an account?

No. Every tool on this site is free and requires no sign-up.
