How it works
Resizing changes an image to specific pixel dimensions, while cropping trims a percentage off each edge — useful for fitting an image into a size requirement, removing unwanted borders from a screenshot, or shrinking a large photo before sharing it.
How to use it
- Choose your image — Its current dimensions are shown automatically.
- Pick resize or crop — Enter exact width/height, or a trim percentage.
- Download the result — Matches your chosen dimensions or crop.
Common questions
Does resizing keep the aspect ratio automatically?
No — width and height are set independently, so entering mismatched values will stretch or squash the image. Calculate a proportional height/width yourself if you want to preserve the original ratio.
Can I crop a specific area rather than an even percentage?
Not currently — this tool trims the same percentage off all four edges evenly rather than letting you select a specific region.
What file format will my resized or cropped image be?
The output matches your original format — a PNG stays a PNG, everything else is saved as JPG.
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. This tool processes your file directly in your browser. It is never sent to a server, stored, or seen by anyone.
Is there a file size or daily limit?
No daily limit. Very large files (roughly 100MB+) may be slow since everything runs on your own device's memory rather than a server.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Every tool on this site is free and requires no sign-up.
